One year ago, Saints Peter and Paul School stood at a crossroads. Years of decline had many quietly assuming the end was near. But where others saw a lost cause, we saw God’s invitation to build something new.
A small team took the risk. We replaced the curriculum with something worthy of our children: a Catholic Classical education rooted in truth, goodness, and beauty. We brought in a new headmistress. We rebuilt the team from the ground up. And despite the challenges – and they were many – God showed up in every step.
Today, we’re thrilled to share what many said was impossible: SSPP isn’t closing – it’s thriving.
This week, our strategic plan received unanimous support from diocesan leadership, parish staff, faculty, and school board. We’re launching a new Montessori program, expanding Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and continuing to grow our now-thriving Classical K-8 program.
SSPP is officially the first Catholic K-8 school in Western New York with a full Classical Curriculum – and this is just the beginning.
We’re not just saving a school. We’re building a movement – one that brings families together, strengthens faith, and reignites Catholic education in our community.
The future is bright. The budget is balanced. The leadership is aligned. The vision is clear.
And no, we’re not closing.
We’re just getting started.
Help us spread the word. Miracles are happening on Main Street.
