Mrs. Anain, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Anain is the mother of two Ss. Peter and Paul graduates, both currently attending Nardin Academy. Like her daughters, Mrs. Anain’s favorite pastime is reading. She holds a Masters Degree in English Literature and Secondary Education from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Ithaca College. Mrs. Anain began her teaching career at Nichols School in 1993 and moved to Ss. Peter and Paul to run the library and teach English Literature in 2005. Through the “Writing Project” at Columbia, Mrs. Anain specialized in the teaching of creative and expository writing. When asked about her goals in education, Mrs. Anain replied, “As a Catholic educator, I endeavor to produce intellectual young men and women who understand, respect, and embrace the teachings of the Catholic Church and are well prepared for the academic rigors of high school.” Mrs. Anain is currently in her third year as Assistant Principal of Ss. Peter and Paul School, serves as the school’s STREAM Coordinator and teaches 7th and 8th grade literature classes.
