Little Flowers Girl’s Club

The goal of the Little Flowers Club is to teach young girls what it means to be a Catholic girl and eventually a Catholic woman. The badge activities lead the girls in an understanding of the virtues and help them form the habit and practice of living the virtues. The time spent with their Catholic peers in the club gives the girls encouragement in their beliefs, support in their beliefs, and friends with who to share their beliefs. This is a wonderful group for Catholic girls under the patronage of St. Therese the Little Flower and the Blessed Mother. Our chapter is open to girls in grades K-6.

Our meetings follow this format:

  1. Prayer
  2. Introduction of the virtue, Saint, and scripture verse
  3. Craft and social time
  4. Closing prayer

Our meetings will be held once a month from 2:00-3:00 pm.

Materials can be ordered through Behold Publications at their website http://eccehomopress.com/LFGC_home.htm. We will be using a book called Little Flowers Wreath 1 Member Guide. This year we will be focusing on Wreath 1, Virtue IV. Sashes and the wreath badges (Little Flowers Wreath 1 Badges) can be ordered from the website as well. The scripture verses are on CD. If you would like your daughter to be able to practice the memory verses, you can order this as well.

The cost of the crafts will be $10.00 for the entire year.. Moms are encouraged to sign up for a month in which to bring in a snack and drink and to help with the craft for that meeting as well, if possible.
