Mrs. McIntyre

Mrs. McIntyre is the PreK-8th grade Art teacher and former Athletic Director and P.E. teacher. She won the Sister Lucille Socciarelli/Father John Sturm ‘Making a Difference Award’ in 2018, incredibly the third teacher at Ss. Peter and Paul to be given the award. She was one of 48 teachers from around the world accepted into the 2016/2017 International Connecting Collections: Integrating Modern and Contemporary Art into the Classroom program at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

She has shared art STREAM strategies with Catholic School art teachers at conferences in Buffalo and Cleveland and was recently asked to speak at the NCEA national conference.

Mrs. McIntyre has a long and varied history at SSPP. She is the mother of four active and athletic Ss. Peter and Paul graduates. Mrs. McIntyre was actively involved in her children’s education and began as a substitute teacher at the school in 1998. She taught in Williamsville’s Community Education program before coming on board full time as our school’s P.E. teacher in 2004.

During her time as Athletic Director, gym teacher, and coach, the sports program at the school blossomed and expanded under Mrs. McIntyre’s watchful eye and with the help of the Sports Booster Club, one of the school’s strongest organizations. Mrs. McIntyre also coached volleyball for Williamsville South High School, where she assisted coached the team to win the 2015 state championship. McIntyre was born and raised in Canada. She is a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul parish and resides with her husband in Williamsville. We are lucky to have her in our students’ lives.
